About GMYT Foundation

GMYT Foundation is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the economic development of women, and youths through skill acquisition, and has provided free entrepreneurship sessions, seminars, and workshops for women, and youths interested in fashion entrepreneurship.

GMYT Foundation, with its stakeholders in the humanitarian development sphere, have impacted nine (9) of the seventeen (17) SDG goals in the last decade. These are evident in the eradication of extreme poverty, zero hunger, quality education, promotion of gender equality, decent work and economic growth, industry innovation and infrastructure, reduced inequality, partnership to achieve the goal, sustainable cities and communities.

Over the years, GMYT Foundation has provided scholarship programs, free accommodation, and industrial/domestic sewing machines to thousands of recipients worth over 200 million naira and is set to empower 1,000 women, and youths in 2023 with empowerment worth over seven hundred (700) million naira.

At GMYT Foundation, the focus is on the hundreds of women, and youth who have graduated from GMYT Fashion Academy, a sister arm of GMYT Foundation with expertise in the commercial realm of fashion to acquire economic relevance in battling societal stereotypes, and gender-based violence.
These recipients are all making tremendous gains in the fashion industry and now own individual brands.

VISION: To reduce gender-based violence by the provision of skill acquisition in Fashion and entrepreneurship for 10000 women and youth by 2030.
