GMYT FOUNDATION 2023 Scholarship Now Open
GMYT Foundation is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the economic development of women, and youths through skill acquisition, and has provided free entrepreneurship sessions, seminars, and workshops for women, and youths interested in fashion entrepreneurship.
GMYT Foundation, with its stakeholders in the humanitarian development sphere, have impacted nine (9) of the seventeen (17) SDG goals in the last decade. These are evident in the eradication of extreme poverty, zero hunger, quality education, promotion of gender equality, decent work and economic growth, industry innovation and infrastructure, reduced inequality, partnership to achieve the goal, sustainable cities and communities.
Over the years, GMYT Foundation has provided scholarship programs, free accommodation, and industrial/domestic sewing machines to thousands of recipients worth over 200 million naira and is set to empower 1,000 women, and youths in 2023 with empowerment worth over seven hundred (700) million naira.
At GMYT Foundation, the focus is on the hundreds of women, and youth who have graduated from GMYT Fashion Academy, a sister arm of GMYT Foundation with expertise in the commercial realm of fashion to acquire economic relevance in battling societal stereotypes, and gender-based violence. These recipients are all making tremendous gains in the fashion industry and now own individual brands.
GMYT Foundation has another initiative which is the GMYT SME support scheme in partnership with GAHawards, and GAHawards fashion show through which women, and youth with outstanding business ideas have received funding worth 50 million naira, and is set to give another 20 million naira on or before 2030.
Finally, the GMYT Foundation has received over 100 awards in the last decade. As this is no small feat, it encourages us to further our mission to empowering young entrepreneurs in achieving their business aspirations. In years to come, we envision a world where young entrepreneurs can dream, grow and succeed.

With the rising rates of unemployment in Nigeria, the Chief Executive Officer, GMYT Fashion Academy, Princess Kelechi Oghene, has awarded free scholarships to prospective students across the country. GMYT Fashion academy is committed to creating Next Generation of female Fashion Entrepreneurs in Nigeria. We teach the two types of fashion design, namely free hand and patterned design. Our graduates are proficient in all design skills and illustration.

around the world via the skills and knowledge acquired at the Academy.
Jobs are the cornerstone of monetary and social development. The impact of excessive tiers of unemployment is devastating, ensuing in poverty, social exclusion, inequality, crime and social instability in the world.
